Reply To: Willow Creek “Red Gate” Section
Paddled Red Gate on August 4th and played in every feature we could find. Water level was around 750 cfs or so. We ran it the first time to pick out all the different features we wanted to play on during our second lap. During lap two we lapped a few of the wave trains and practiced catching harder Edward Lines and surfing. Plenty of swims. We also whipped out the throw ropes and practiced swimming rapids and throw ropes. Only minor injuries and gear damage. Stay strong out there friends!
